Golden Hippo

2023 - PRESENT

"As a leader in direct-to-consumer marketing, we build health, beauty, and pet care brands that are innovative, profitable, and make the world a better place."

At Golden Hippo I manage and write for health newsletters with more than 1.5 million subscribers. I work in both English and Spanish.

In a given week, I pen 3-4 sale emails and "free content" emails, often requiring extensive scientific research. I develop the sales strategy and content calendar for these emails. I also create Facebook 2-3 ad scripts, working cross-functionally with the video and Spanish marketing teams.

Lifelong Learning - Olin School of Business

2021  - 2022

"Lifelong Learning at Olin provides resources for alumni to continue growing personally and professionally."

The Ampersand - College of Arts & Sciences at Washington University

2020  - 2021

"Stories of incredible people, research, learning, and leadership in Arts & Sciences."

At The Ampersand I pitched and wrote profiles and other feature pieces for both the website and quarterly print magazine. I truly did speak to incredible people, and my curiosity and enthusiasm were evident in my writing, as I received glowing audience feedback and was asked to extend the length of my contract.

A CRISPR Bite Podcast - GEAP3 Network

(Genome Editing and Agricultural Policy, Practice and Public Perceptions)

2020-2022

"The GEAP3 network is an international research consortium that brings together social scientists, policy experts and bio-scientists to explore the domestic and international ramifications of the EU’s policy and regulatory approach to genome editing in agriculture."

My favorite of my multiple hats at the GEAP3 Network was writing, producing, and interviewing guests for the team's podcast, A CRISPR Bite. I spoke with prominent professors, authors, and even FDA regulators, visiting labs and archives to learn the varied perspectives and nuances of genome editing.

Myers-JDC-Brookdale Institute

2019

"The Myers-JDC-Brookdale Institute is Israel’s leading center for applied social research. We meticulously study and evaluate social programs and analyze demographic data to help inform policy, advise programming, and improve services for individuals, families, and communities."

At Brookdale I was tasked with "telling the story" of the institute. I interviewed researchers and wrote about their work, as well as documented industry events and created informational materials for visiting guests.

Due to technical difficulties, most of these links are internal.

Jewish World Watch

2021

"Inspiring people of all faiths and cultures to join the ongoing fight against genocide."

At JWW I wrote donor relations campaigns and internal reports to support advocacy efforts. I also collaborated on rewriting the webpage for the Seeds of Survival project, and I developed long-term social media strategy.

JWW performs incredible work supporting the victims of genocides and mass atrocities worldwide and advocating for human rights. I have been involved with the organization since 2017, and was honored to deliver a keynote address at the 2018 Walk to End Genocide.
